"This could develop into a huge net protest with boycotts and the like"

Lol.. why would there be a boycott of Virgin Media if they were to charge the BBC for access to Virgin subscribers?

"I think maybe this might be more of the same rumour war"

Erm, the BBC's Iplayer is facing a switch off by every ISP in the UK. And this has been widely reported for the last 6 months.

i'm taking this story with a pinch of salt.

If you remember a few weeks back, Virgin were going to disconnect file shareres, that turned out to be rubbish. I think people are taking the hate they have for comcast (the big US cable company) and aiming it at Virgin (the big UK cable company).

I think that Obama has more money to spend in blogs, media campaigns and ads that favor him while criticizing McCain or Hillary. Money talks...

I only know one thing for sure, without the unity of the democratic party no candidate can win.

The obesrvation of this article may be correct, however, the reasons were not explored. I suggest that there are many many more negative articles about McCain and HRC because both have blown it to varying degrees. On several occassions, McCain "misspoke" when discussing critical issues, like Iran, Iraq, etc. His "misspeaks" are important, because they send the message that he either has not been paying attention to what has been going on in the world and at home, or he seriously is having senior moments, either of which will call to quesiton his ability to effectively lead a country. HRC's numerous "misspeaks" are of a different nature, she has in effect lied about her involvement and participation on various fronts related to foreign and domestic affairs. She has based her campaign on the premise that the is the most qualified to lead the country, yet the examples of her "qualifications" have been lies, or as she calls "misspeaks", NAFTA, SCHIP, FMLA, Northern Ireland, Kosovo, Bosnia, etc. When she is not lying about her qualifications, she is lying about her Democratic opponent. The problem is that she has been caught with her lies, making her one of the butts of jokes everywhere and certainly with diminished credibility on all fronts.
Barack Obama, on the other hand has exemplefied the platfrom of his campaign--change. His campaign itself has been a drastic change from the dirty political games traditional campaigns have embraced (like Hillary's campaign). Obama's campaign has been open, honest, no dirty tricks, no lies, no exagerations, it is what it is. Leaving little or no room for the type of criticism the McCain and Clinton are experiencing.
Barack Obama has proven to be a candidate of his word, he is brilliant, honest and courageous. He faces criticism face on, answers challenges face on, and never wavers from his message of hope, change, openness, inclussiveness, and integrity above all else.
This is why most of the positive articles are about Obama--he has earned that respect. He has earned the right to be the front runner for the race for the Presidency of the United States.
