Rape is Like Being Force-Fed Chocolate Cake
April 11, 2008
“Rape is simply sex (I am talking about ‘husband-rape’ here)… Women enjoy sex, so rape cannot be such a terrible physical ordeal…To suggest that rape, when conducted without violence, is a serious crime is like suggesting force-feeding a woman chocolate cake is a heinous offence.”
This is the word of a blogger, more specifically Nick Eriksen, who’s was a senior BNP official until he got sackedbecause of this quote. BNP is a far right political party in England..
In his blog, Sir John Bull – as he calls himself – feels harassed and has suspended the blog so that it can no longer be used to “damage the only party which has sensible, fair and practical answers to the problems Britain faces today.” He claims the quote is out of context, but all blog post are deleted, so there is no way to verify it.
Also, making this a discussion about Nick Eriksen and his party, is, “not acceptable and will not be tolerated.” I have to wonder what he’ll do next.
The userbase at digg.com is mad at him, but I’m not sure if this will develop into anything.
Do we hate McCain And Hillary?
April 11, 2008
Things doesnt seem to be going good for anybody but Obama these days. The social web is filling up with stories negative to anybody but Obama.
McCain’s age is really putting him at a disadvatage, and he’s made som really ridicoulus statements that seem to confirm the notion that the man is indeed senile. The latest example being his stand on deficits, which he will cut like Reagan. Problem is that Reagan tripled deficits.
Hillary really isn’t faring better, Digg.com is filled about stories about her lies on the Bosnia incident. Now they took it to a new level, discussing Bill’s lies about Hillary’s lies.
So I predict that Obama wins the nomination, and hopefully becomes President. My fear is that Hillary followers would rather vote for McCain than Obama. Or if Hillary wins the nomination, that Obama followers vote for McCain rather than Hillary.
Or what do you think?
Anti-Uwe Boll petition reaches 100k, 900k to go
April 8, 2008
Infamous director Uwe Boll, responsible for awful movies like Alone in the Dark and BloodRayne, were asked what he thougth of an online petition to end his filmmaking. At the time, 18 000 people had signed the petiton, but it’s not nearly enough to make Boll question his film-making skill. So how many does it take to make Boll stop making movies. One million.
Yes, that’s right, if one million people sign the petition, Uwe Boll will resign. And what’s more is that it isn’t totally out of reach. Yesterday, the petition reached 60 000 and today we’re to passing the 100 000 milestone.
Signature number 100 000, with comment:
jay tomorrow - He needs to stop.
The signatures are still coming in at a good rate, so if Uwe Boll is a man of his words, there is still hope.
